Bedouin Circles

I have just finished these earrings today. They have been inspired by a pair that Alvaro brought me back from Egypt, which I have always loved. These earrings created in me a curiosity for Bedouin jewelry. The coloured stones and dirty metal (mostly silver), an endless source of inspiration.
Typically the small copper beads dangling from the crocheted circle would have been tiny bells to warn off evil spirits. These little beads make more of a gentle whisper.
