This morning I've been having a little look through my first ever copy of 'Selvedge' and checking out some links like Craft Central.
It´s a site dedicated to craft (so good!), exhibitions, designers, classes etc within the UK. I was browsing through the designer - maker gallery and found a section on the textile designer Laura Berens. I've never heard of her before and I´m so glad I've discovered her work! She designs cushions, wall hangings, t shirts etc and combines vintage photographs with what looks like drawings by Ernst Haeckel.
Also on her web page is a gallery of silk screen prints, which are made using illustrations ... so beautiful.
